Following the sparkling wine tasting, I was really in the mood for some more... I didn't pick any of the selections offered, but once lured by the
blanc de noirs I grabbed a lovely bottle of the
Castellblanch Rosado Cava, a non-vintage offering from Spain. It's made from Trepat and Garnacha. Some berry flavors, mildly sweet (labeled as "Seco"), and easily drinkable. Once again, why is it that Spanish rosés have that slightly orange cast to them? It doesn't bother me, I find it attractive.
